Luxology taps Thinglab for modo 3D "hardcopy"

When software-maker Luxology of San Mateo, CA. wanted to create a video tutorial on rapid prototyping, they turned to Thinglab for 3D printing.
First, Andy Brown of Luxology used the subdivision surface modeling features in their modo(r) software to create a portable MP3 player. This "watertight" file was then brought to Thinglab and a scale version of the MP3 player was produced. The resulting video tutorials from Luxology offer insight into how this modern 3D software can be used for conceptual design.
